How Long Does a Lower Facelift Last?

The neck, jowls, and lower face show the earliest signs of aging. The muscles begin to droop, and the skin relaxes, causing sagging and undefined jawlines. Dr. Lanfranchi performs customizable lower facelifts to address early signs of aging and achieve your individual goals.

What is a Lower Facelift?

A lower facelift addresses the areas of the face that age first, fastest, and most significantly. At the Lanfranchi Center, Dr. Lanfranchi recognizes that everyone’s face and aging concerns are different. The TLC Lift™ is a fully customizable anti-aging rejuvenation that addresses your concerns and helps you reach your goals.

What Results to Expect from a Lower Facelift

At the Lanfranchi Center, lower facelifts are performed under local anesthesia with oral sedation to help decrease anxiety. The superficial muscular aponeurotic system (SMAS) is the layer of the face most important to structural support. Dr. Lanfranchi corrects the position of the SMAS layer and platysma muscle  to improve the contour of the jawline and lower face.

You should see a dramatic improvement in sagging jowls, drooping lower facial skin, and natural profile. For men, you should expect a more masculine jawline. The TLC Lift™ can be combined with other procedures to improve your results.

How Long Does a Lower Facelift Last?

Lower facelifts can last 10-15 years, depending on age, lifestyle choices, bone structure, skin type, sun exposure, and genetics. Lower facelifts cannot stop future aging, but younger patients enjoy longer-lasting results. Botox, dermal fillers, laser resurfacing, or chemical peels can be added to improve and help maintain the results of your lower facelift.

Stellar Service from Start to Finish

Two months ago I had a lower lifestyle facial lift. I was apprehensive, but it was well worth the effort and expense. Dr. Lanfranchi and his entire staff were kind, caring and very professional, from the first meeting to the follow up appointments.

The procedure is done under a local, not general anesthetic, and it was easy. I healed quickly and am very satisfied with the results.
His fee was very reasonable. Any further facial work I want done, I will be sure to come back here.
