How Much Does CO2 Laser Cost?

Have you been losing confidence in your appearance because of tired-looking skin? Do you find yourself feeling down even on beautiful days because you can’t seem to look the way you want? While time ticks forward, we can rejuvenate our face and shed off years of our appearance through fractional CO2 laser skin resurfacing at the Lanfranchi Center.

What is CO2 Laser Resurfacing?

CO2 laser resurfacing is a revolutionary facial rejuvenation technique that treats skin-deep problems without injuring the pigment-producing or recovery cells. By encouraging the peeling of the epidermis (the thin, top layer of skin) and heating the dermis, the skin rebuilds with new collagen production, producing revitalized skin.

During the following 6 to 9-month period, the skin peels and sheds to reveal the healthier and firmer skin underneath. CO2 laser resurfacing may be done with a TLC Liftâ„¢ or independently.

How Much Does CO2 Laser Cost?

The cost of CO2 laser resurfacing depends on a few different factors, including but not limited to:

  • The type of laser used
  • Size of the target area
  • The number of appointments
  • If anesthesia is used
  • Prescriptions for medication

According to over a thousand reviews on Real Self, the average cost of laser resurfacing is $2,750. 85% of reviewers reported that the price was worth the smoother and more even-toned skin results.

What Can CO2 Laser Resurfacing Treat?

With minimal downtime from activities and exercise, CO2 laser resurfacing allows rejuvenation with little to no risk. Depending on the extensiveness and the type of laser used, CO2 laser resurfacing can be used to treat a variety of superficial skin conditions such as:

  • Wrinkles
  • Photodamage (sun damage)
  • Scars
  • Warts
  • Birthmarks
  • Rhinophyma
  • Mild non-cancerous and cancerous skin conditions

During your consultation at the Lanfranchi Center, discuss with Dr. Lanfranchi your goals to improve your skin.

Am I a Good Candidate for CO2 Laser Resurfacing?

Before considering CO2 laser resurfacing, it is good to ask yourself if you are a good candidate. Whether or not you are a good candidate is best discussed in full at the Lanfranchi Center during your consultation.

While CO2 lasering helps many different skin conditions, the Lanfranchi Center may not consider you a good candidate if you have excessive or sagging skin, active acne, deep wrinkles, or dark skin. If we do not feel this treatment is best for you, we will be able to give recommendations on the best course of action to achieve your goals.

Stellar Service from Start to Finish

Two months ago I had a lower lifestyle facial lift. I was apprehensive, but it was well worth the effort and expense. Dr. Lanfranchi and his entire staff were kind, caring and very professional, from the first meeting to the follow up appointments.

The procedure is done under a local, not general anesthetic, and it was easy. I healed quickly and am very satisfied with the results.
His fee was very reasonable. Any further facial work I want done, I will be sure to come back here.
