How is Neck Liposculpting Performed?
Lax, sagging skin of the neck is responsible for that wrinkled, “turkey/chicken neck” texture, and submental fullness—the double chin—contributes to loose or wrinkled skin in this area. Thankfully, neck liposculpting is one of the more common procedures performed at The Lanfranchi Center in Las Vegas, even for patients as young as their early 20s. Dr. Lanfranchi and Team TLC can dramatically sculpt the shape of your neck and jawline through neck liposculpting, sometimes with the addition of chin augmentation to balance out the profile.
Neck liposculpting is safely and effectively performed with local anesthesia (as are all of Dr. Lanfranchi’s procedures) and oral sedation should you request it. Once you’re relaxed and pleasantly unconcerned, and the area is numb, a tiny incision is made beneath the chin in an easily concealed fold of skin. A small cannula is inserted into the treatment area, and Dr. Lanfranchi’s artistry begins. By removing unwanted fat that stubbornly sits in pockets or has migrated under the jawbone, he’ll sculpt the neck and under the jawline. You’re left with a finely contoured jawline, smooth skin of the neck, and the underside of your chin is properly shaped, restoring your facial balance and beauty in this simple in-office procedure.
Am I a Good Candidate?
Unhappiness with the neck’s shape can plague men and women alike thanks to genetics, diet-resistant fat pockets, or the effects of gravity on the jawline. Even young people deal with insecurity about their necks. Patients with realistic expectations who are in good health are ideal candidates for neck liposculpting. An in-person consultation with board-certified Dr. Lanfranchi will determine your candidacy for this procedure.
