This gentleman presented to our Center with the request of improving his jawline and small chin. An evaluation revealed an undersized chin along with sagging tissue along the lower face and jawbone (producing " jowls"). We agreed that tastefully increasing the size of the chin, along with tightening both the muscle and skin of the lower face (a.k.a. " Minilift/Mini-Facelift"), would create a natural balance. Both procedures were performed in the same session under local anesthesia (with mild oral sedation with valium) in our Center. Procedure time was slightly under two hours. He returned to both work and the gym one week after the procedure.
