This young woman presented with the desire to have a more prominent chin. She presented with full cheeks and lips and wished for her chin to be more complementary and balanced. In our Center, under local anesthesia and oral sedation with valium, we performed a chin augmentation with an Implantech extended anatomic implant (size large). No liposuction was performed under her chin. A small incision under her chin was made (about a half inch in size), and sutures were removed after one week. Her results demonstrate improved facial balance and harmony.
