This young man presented with the desire to establish a better balance between his midface and chin. He had always had a slight overbite with his dentition along with a mildly undersized chin. In the office, under local anesthesia and oral sedation with valium, we performed a chin implant procedure via a half inch incision under his chin. The procedure time was approximately 30 minutes, and the sutures were removed at one week. His results demonstrate a more balanced profile that appears natural and not overstated.
