Description
This lovely and energetic woman presented to our Center with a 10-year concern of her "turkey neck" and jowling. She continues to be quite active and social, and did not feel that the droopiness of her lower face and neck matched her internal energy. At initial consultation, she stated that she did not want to take the risk of undergoing general, or IV, anesthesia for an "elective procedure". She was informed that procedures performed at our Center were all performed under local anesthesia, which she found appealing. An hour prior to procedure she was administered a small dose of valium to relieve any anxiety. The procedure was performed under local anesthesia in two hours time. Results demonstrate marked improvement in her profile with refinement of her jawline. In under two weeks after procedure she was able to return to all physical activity and her social life.
