How Much Does a Neck Lift Cost in 2019?

People don’t often think their neck is part of their aging problem. Most hone in on lines and wrinkles, or loss of volume in the cheeks. The neck, however, is one of those spots that shows age sooner, faster, and can have a significant effect on your appearance. At The Lanfranchi Center, faces and necks are Dr. Paul Lanfranchi’s specialty.

The TLC Lift™

Dr. Lanfranchi’s meticulous attention to detail has made him one of the premier facial rejuvenation specialists in Las Vegas, and his dedication to patient service has led to national recognition. For a doctor of his caliber, only The TLC Lift™ is good enough for his patients. The TLC Lift™ is a comprehensive treatment for the neck and lower face. It dramatically improves jowls, a disappearing jawline, under chin fullness, drooping skin of the lower face and neck, and muscle banding of the neck. By tightening the muscles and skin of both the neck and jawline, including the SMAS layer and platysma muscle, The TLC Lift™ restores a youthful jawline and significantly reduces the appearance of the “turkey/chicken neck.”

Many patients add a chin augmentation procedure to The TLC Lift™ in order to strengthen their profile and improve facial balance.

The Cost of a Neck Lift

According to the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, the average cost of a neck lift in 2017 was $4,819. RealSelf.com (on which Dr. Lanfranchi has been awarded the distinction of Top Doc), which tracks user data across the US, listed a neck lift’s average cost as $8,675, though it can range from $2,500 to $14,500. Cost of the procedure varies by location, by physician experience and skill, by the complexity of the treatment itself, and by the technique used to perform the procedure.

At The Lanfranchi Center, Dr. Lanfranchi performs The TLC Lift™ under local anesthesia rather than general or IV anesthesia. This is safer for the patient by significantly reducing stress on the body and risks posed by general and IV anesthesia. But safety isn’t the only benefit. Patients report their experience as easier than a trip to the dentist. Between 50-60% of patients sleep through the procedure, and those who don’t relax to music or sometimes doze lightly throughout the 2 hour session.

Results and Recovery

Downtime for The TLC Lift™ can be anywhere from 5-10 days, depending on the patient. The team at The Lanfranchi Center will provide you with all the information you need for preparing before and recovering after your procedure to help shorten your recovery time and avoid setbacks. Patients with a less strenuous job are sometimes able to return to work in as little as 3 days. Everyone responds differently to facial rejuvenation, so there’s a chance you won’t have swelling and bruising, but it is normal to experience these symptoms after the procedure.
