How Painful is a Facelift?
To maximize your outcome and minimize complications, Team TLC will explain your procedure in detail during your consultation, so you will know what to expect the day of your facial rejuvenation and beyond. We’ll hold your hand through the journey from beginning to end, including providing comprehensive care instructions for before and after your procedure. Preparing well for your rejuvenation day will maximize your outcome and minimize your recovery time, so you’re back to your daily schedule within 5-10 days. Some patients with less strenuous jobs may even return to work sooner.
After your facelift, you’ll be prescribed pain medication to help minimize discomfort. Swelling, bruising, and redness are all normal effects of a facelift. Elevating yourself on pillows and getting plenty of rest following your procedure, as well as avoiding sun exposure, will also speed the healing process. Every patient’s tolerance for pain differs, and Team TLC will work with you to make your recovery as quick and pain-free as possible.
