How Is the Lower Facelift Performed?
The SMAS (superficial muscular aponeurotic system) layer of the face is one of the most important structural supports in the face, and over time, gravity brings it lower, resulting in deepening nasolabial folds and marionette lines around the mouth, jowls, and the dreaded “turkey/chicken neck.” The TLC LiftTM corrects all that by repositioning the SMAS layer and the platysma muscle (the broad muscles from the upper chest and shoulder to the top of the neck) and shifting the placement of the skin for a dramatically improved jawline, reduction of under-chin fullness and wrinkles, and tighter skin of the neck. Am I a Good Candidate?

Recovery and Results
Surprisingly, a combination of procedures does not prolong recovery time for the TLC Lift™. Good preparation before your procedure and adherence to the aftercare instructions can certainly help reduce recovery time, which is expected to last 5-10 days.
