Procedures Performed

  • Neck Lift & Lower Facelift

Case Details

  • Female

Description

This patient presented with the complaint of insufficient overall result from her first facelift (performed by another surgeon) approximately one year prior. She had hoped for more improvement in the definition of her jawline, as well as greater tightening of her neck skin and platysma muscle. She complained of odd creasing/webbing at the top part of her ear, as well as a pulling sensation in front of her ear (specifically the cartilage in front of the ear canal). After evaluation, we decided to perform a revision lower facelift and neck lift under local anesthesia in our Center. Her results demonstrate overall improved jawline and neck contour, with improvement in the incisions (and "pulling effect") around her ears. The procedure time was slightly under two hours, and her recovery was approximately one week.
