This young man presented with a desire to improve his profile and "double chin". Prior to his procedure with us, he had received 3 failed treatments with Kybella under his chin at another office. He did not feel the Kybella treatments gave him enough improvement and wished for a more dramatic and long-lasting result. Under local anesthesia and oral sedation (with valium) in our Center, we performed submental liposuction along with placement of an extended anatomic silicone chin implant. His result demonstrates much improved facial balance and reduction of the fullness under his chin. His recovery time was slightly under one week (sutures removed at that time).
