How Much is Neck Lipo?

A double chin can be hard to hide and affect how you feel when you look in the mirror. Even people with a normal body weight can accumulate stubborn fat around the neck area. Neck liposuction is the most effective way to eliminate your double chin and achieve a slim, sculpted neck that boosts your confidence.

What is Neck Liposuction?

Neck liposuction or neck lipo is a way to remove submental fat. This fat, which accumulates under the chin, can be nearly impossible to get rid of with lifestyle changes. Neck liposuction uses a thin tool called a cannula to break up and remove fat using one or a few tiny incisions. Dr. Lanfranchi performs liposculpting, a precise and targeted form of lipo that shapes the area and creates an aesthetically pleasing neckline. Dr. Lanfranchi performs all liposuction procedures under local anesthesia with mild oral sedation (typically xanax).

How Much is Neck Lipo?

Liposuction costs vary widely depending on many factors. One significant factor is the size of the treatment area. Neck lipo addresses a small area, so it usually costs less than a large area like the abdomen. The average cost of liposuction is $3,500 to $4,200. Factors that affect your total cost include:

  • Your liposuction provider’s skill and experience
  • Your location
  • The number of areas treated
  • The type of anesthesia used
  • Other fees and expenses (such as a need for an anesthesiologist)

We recommend a consultation so Dr. Lanfranchi can assess your concerns and recommend the best treatment plan to address them. The actual cost of neck lipo can vary significantly, so nationwide estimates may not accurately reflect what you can expect to pay.

Do I Need Neck Lipo or a Neck Lift?

If you look in the mirror and see a double chin, you may think neck liposuction is the best solution. Neck lipo is ideal for individuals with accumulated submental fat but good skin elasticity. When the fat is removed, this elastic skin will naturally rebound.

If you also have loose or sagging skin, it may not rebound after liposuction. You may benefit more from a TLC Lift™ neck and lower facelift. This procedure improves the neck, jawline, and lower face for a more defined, youthful look.

People who have neck liposuction may also choose to have chin augmentation. This procedure can add projection and shape to your chin, and when combined with neck lipo or a TLC Lift™, it can enhance the overall balance of your features.

What is Recovery Like After Neck Liposuction?

Neck liposculpting allows most people to recover with minimal downtime. Some people notice minor swelling in the area, but this usually fades within a few days. If you have a low-activity job, you may be able to return to work within a week. You can resume more strenuous activities after a few weeks.

Stellar Service from Start to Finish

Two months ago I had a lower lifestyle facial lift. I was apprehensive, but it was well worth the effort and expense. Dr. Lanfranchi and his entire staff were kind, caring and very professional, from the first meeting to the follow up appointments.

The procedure is done under a local, not general anesthetic, and it was easy. I healed quickly and am very satisfied with the results.
His fee was very reasonable. Any further facial work I want done, I will be sure to come back here.
