Am I a Candidate for a Brow Lift?

A sagging brow and forehead can make you look tired or even annoyed. You can raise your drooping brows to their proper position and smooth your forehead with a brow lift. A brow lift can take the heavy burden off your upper eye area, so your eyes look brighter and more alert.

What is a Brow Lift?

Gravity and loss of collagen contribute to a drooping brow position, particularly in the outer corners of the brow. As you age, the skin and underlying muscle start to sag. The overhanging skin can give your eyes a shadowed, hooded appearance. You may look like you need to get more sleep. If you have these problems, a brow lift can raise the outer brow and forehead for a more awake, rejuvenated appearance.

Am I a Candidate For a Brow Lift?

Good candidates for a brow lift maintain overall good health and preferably do not smoke. If you have sagging brows, a brow lift might be your best option for correcting them. Because Dr. Lanfrachi performs the TLC brow lift using a local anesthetic, you have none of the risks associated with general anesthesia.

How Does the TLC Brow Lift Work?

A TLC brow lift starts with small incisions hidden inside the sides of the scalp. Dr. Lanfranchi’s TLC technique uses the smallest possible incisions and causes minimal tissue trauma for a faster recovery. He will use these incisions to access and lift the skin and underlying layers of tissue. With a TLC brow lift, results look natural and youthful because the fat and muscle have been raised along with the skin. Dr. Lanfranchi can even use the opportunity to correct uneven brows for a more symmetrical appearance.

You may choose to have an upper eyelid lift with your brow lift for maximum results. While a brow lift will raise sagging brows, it cannot address loose or drooping eyelids. The two procedures create a noticeably younger, more refreshed, and more alert look. A brow lift also makes an excellent companion to a facelift, which primarily corrects sagging and laxity in the mid to lower face.

What is Recovery Like From a Brow Lift?

You will have some swelling and soreness for the first few days after your procedure. Recovery takes no more than 10-14 days. During this period, you will need to avoid strenuous activities and follow Dr. Lanfranchi’s guidelines for care.

What Results Will I See With a Brow Lift?

Your final results will become visible after about one month when the swelling subsides. With good skin care and sun protection, you can expect your results to last up to ten years or even more.

Stellar Service from Start to Finish

Two months ago I had a lower lifestyle facial lift. I was apprehensive, but it was well worth the effort and expense. Dr. Lanfranchi and his entire staff were kind, caring and very professional, from the first meeting to the follow up appointments.

The procedure is done under a local, not general anesthetic, and it was easy. I healed quickly and am very satisfied with the results.
His fee was very reasonable. Any further facial work I want done, I will be sure to come back here.
