How Long is Recovery After Blepharoplasty?
Blepharoplasty not only offers long-lasting results but also comes with minimal downtime! Most patients only need one week of downtime after an eyelid lift at The Lanfranchi Center, depending on whether their upper or lower eyelids were treated.
After your procedure, you can expect some swelling and bruising around your eyes for a few days. We’ll give you detailed instructions and tips to manage any discomfort. Though most patients return to work within a week, you may need to avoid strenuous activities for longer. Full recovery from blepharoplasty can take a few weeks.
Am I a Good Candidate for Blepharoplasty?
Good candidates for blepharoplasty typically have realistic expectations for the outcome and are in good overall health. Patients with certain medical conditions, such as severe dry eye syndrome or thyroid problems, may not be good candidates for the procedure.
